The Ukrainian people are very grateful for all the help and support they have received from Canadians since the beginning of Russia's invasion in 2014, and especially over the past two years. The situation is very difficult, with six to eight million Ukrainians, mostly women and children, living outside of Ukraine with at least an equal number if not more internally displaced within Ukraine. Russia's continuing attacks on civilian infrastructure result in civilian, as well as military casualties and the constant urgent need for medical, trauma, and psychological support.
We first of all ask your continued prayers for the Ukrainian people, so that with God's help this genocidal war will be brought to a quick end with a just and sustainable peace for Ukraine. We also ask that you continue to encourage your elected representatives on the local, provincial, and federal levels to continue to offer Ukraine much needed military and humanitarian aid, as well as necessary support for Ukranian refugees here in Canada.
